About Our Puppies
docs.google.com/document/d/1ZONjWfy_dTsnLbSwlI4x-NA2UhY_R9pL8QQPNatsIoQ/edit?usp=sharingAt Hidden Orchard Farm, our goal is to provide you with a happy, healthy, intelligent, biddable, and socialized new member of your family. To that end, our pups are born and raised in the home with us. From birth, they are exposed to the normal comings and goings of the household, given lots of attention and love, and provided with age-appropriate levels of socialization. They are kept with their mother and their litter mates until after their first shots at eight weeks, when they are physically and psychologically ready to go to their new homes. Puppy prices start at $1000 for pets with OTSC and/or NFDA registration as appropriate. Prices may range upward depending on the individual puppy and what you are looking for. A non-refundable $250 deposit is required to reserve a puppy after completion of the application process. Click here to view our puppy contract.

Health GuaranteeIf, within 72 hours of delivery to your family, the puppy is found to be other than healthy by your veterinarian, the puppy may be returned. The purchase price may be applied to another puppy or refunded (less the non-refundable deposit/handling fee).
|
Genetic TestingWe test for CEA and MDR1 in parent dogs as a matter of course. All pups are CEA/n or n/n and MDR1 n/n. Certificates of any genetic tests given to the puppy will be provided to the buyer at the time of sale, and results of parental testing are always available upon request.
|
Open Door PolicyIf, at any time, you are ever unable to keep your Hidden Orchard pup, we will accept them back at our home, no questions asked, no judgement cast. No refunds will be given.
|
**NOTE** As a herding breed, your pup may be sensitive to certain drugs even if it is MDR1/normal. We recommend that you speak with your vet and educate yourself on the dangers of using these drugs with your Hidden Orchard pup.
Puppy Enrichment and Socialization
Our puppies are socialized from birth using the AvidDog regiment, which includes early environmental and neurological stimulation, and scent introduction. Pups will be exposed to indoor and outdoor environments, other animals, children, men, women, strangers, grooming and nail trimming, a variety of surfaces including hard floors, basic clicker and leash training, car rides, crates, and household appliances.
